You Can Currently Watch Your TikTok Videos on a Tablet

Recently, TikTok revealed that the TikTok app has been updated to be more tablet-friendly, making it ideal for iPads and Android devices. 

Described as "a complete upgrade," the company's blog post went on to say that the update is compatible with all devices that are used to access the app. 

Though it still seems visually identical to the TikTok app you've always used on your smartphone, most of the changes seem to have been done at the program's backend.

In order to do this, the company emphasizes improvements made to the navigation bars, orientation support, and video feed.

Among the navigational changes are easier-to-navigate symbols with greater clarity. 

They remain aligned to the right of the video, but you'll be able to see them more clearly on the tablet since they stand out against the video's background.

The information panel with top comments, links to items in the video (if any), and support for closed captioning is located to the left of the video. 

The bottom navigation bar is the same as it is on the mobile app.
