Earlier, OpenAI shuts down the leaked text-to-video AI tool Sora. The tool has officially been released for general use by its paying customers yesterday.

In the United States, users may use Sora with a ChatGPT Plus membership, which costs $20 per month. It can create up to 50 videos of up to 20 seconds each.

A ChatGPT Pro membership provides customers with more Sora usage, better resolution, and longer videos.

According to OpenAI officials, Sora will open up new opportunities for artists and creatives.

"We really believe that Sora can open doors for people to explore and share their creativity visually, especially without extensive resources or training," Souki Mansoor, Sora artist program lead at OpenAI, said in an interview. "As we know, filmmaking is very expensive."

The tool will be available to anyone 18 and older in countries where ChatGPT is available, with the exception of the United Kingdom, Switzerland, and the European Economic Area.

OpenAI stated that it is trying to enable Sora in such regions. The company is also working on a free version of Sora.
