YouTube TV’s Streaming Price to Increase by $10 to $82.99 Per Month
Alphabet-owned YouTube is raising the price of its popular TV streaming service, which has over 8 million members. Beginning in January, the platform will cost $82.99 per month, up from $72.99.
YouTube TV's newest price hike is the result of growing content costs, according to the company.
"We do not take these decisions lightly, and we understand that they have an impact on our members. We are committed to providing you innovations that will change the way you watch live TV," YouTube TV stated in an earlier email to subscribers.

The price increase will be applied in the members' first billing cycle after January 13. Subscribers may check their account membership settings to see which plan they are subscribed to.
YouTube noted that some viewers may cancel their subscriptions as a result of the price increase, reminding subscribers that they may do so at any moment.
YouTube will raise costs for users in line with other big streaming providers in 2024.
In August, Disney increased the price of both its ad-supported and ad-free Disney+ programs by $2. The ad-supported membership costs $9.99 per month, while the ad-free version costs $15.99 per month. It also increased the cost of its Hulu + Live TV bundle.
