In a post on the YouTube Help page, the video hosting website revealed that it has started experimenting with comment pausing. This feature is currently being tested with a small number of channels.

Once the option is on, new comments cannot be posted, but comments on existing posts can still be viewed.

In the video-level comment settings, you will see a pause option if you are part of the experimental phase. When this function is active, viewers of your video will see that all comments have been stopped.

YouTube announced that it started testing the setting on October 19.

In October 2023, it conducted another test including Community postings. YouTube clarified that it is currently experimenting with a "posts-only" feed in the mobile Home section.

Here, you can see Community postings by creators by tapping on the "View all" button.

In the end, YouTube stated that this feature seems to concentrate the material and that it aims to make it easier for viewers to access Community postings.

More features that were previously exclusive to Premium subscribers are now available to anyone, thanks to Google's apparent makeover of YouTube.

Although certain features were only test versions, YouTube has chosen to make them publicly available to all users.
