Google Changes One tab in the YouTube App for Android
According to 9to5Google, Google is presently working on a new tab for the YouTube app for Android. The You tab will take the place of the Library tab.
Also, the avatar or profile photo that currently resides in the top right corner of the screen will be moved to the bottom bar.
Google's change of one tab on Android version of YouTube
With a carousel on top displaying thumbnails of your recent YouTube History, the You tab will resemble the Library tab nearly perfectly.
This will enable you to see the videos you've recently seen and watch them again if you'd like.
You may view your own video playlists in the Playlists carousel, which is located under History. Below is a vertical list with these three choices:
-
Your videos
-
Downloads
-
Your clips
-
Your movies
-
Your premium benefits
-
Time watched
-
Help & feedback
However, as of right now, it appears that just a small number of Android users have received either update.
