YouTube facilitates the choice of the ideal thumbnail for creators
Choosing the perfect thumbnail for your YouTube video may soon become much simpler.
A feature called "Test & Compare" is undergoing early testing, according to YouTube.
For a single video, it allows creators to post up to 3 thumbnails, and YouTube will experiment behind the scenes to determine which one does the best.
YouTube’s Test & Compare feature
YouTube claims in a video statement that it is presently testing the service with "a few hundred creators."
However, it intends to distribute a test version to thousands more people in the upcoming months before a wider rollout next year.
According to YouTube, the functionality, also known as A/B testing, has been a "top requested feature" by its users.
The thumbnail of a video is crucial in attracting viewers; thus, it must be as eye-catching as possible.
