Here are two ways that you can use to embed a video in a Microsoft document. Note that the instructions are for Microsoft Word 2016.

Insert a local video

  • Step 1: Open your Word document, then navigate to the position where you want to insert the video. Click the “Insert” tab, and choose “Object” in the Text group.

  • Step 2: Next, select the “Create From File” tab and then click “Browse.” From there, choose the video on your PC and click “Open.”
